The two and half days would also have not been enough time to visit the roughly 650,000 square feet or 35,000 works of art at the Louvre (the second of the two museums we had selected). Some estimate that if a museum goer had spent 30 seconds at each piece, it would have taken them a hundred days to see the entire (visible) collection! We had a little less than two hours (if we wanted to stay on track).
