Near the eastern end of the Fortress complex stands the porticoed Palacio del Partal. This mini palace predates the Nasrid Palaces and faces its own large reflecting pond. The Palacio is surrounded by large of area of terraced gardens and fountains, a welcome oasis for visitors to The Alhambra.
