But even with this incessant need to discover my dubious roots, there was an equally opposing voice in my head saying that this was not yet the right time. This discovering would need to be purposeful and not superficial as it would probably be; we were still at the cover-as-many-places-as-possible stage in our international travels.
The lure of the Iberian Peninsula was not completely lost however.
