FUN FACT. The restaurant has a cheeky definition of a must-try dessert after a seafood-laden feast: Prego.

Would we make it to the Lisbon airport in one piece? The thought raced through our heads as the Uber driver gunned past yet another yellow traffic light. We really had no other choice the following morning; buses would not starting running for another two hours and we were too lazy to schlep down the hill to hail a taxi.

The driver had muttered in his broken Portuguese-English something about not having slept in three days. His frenzied mannerism and disheveled look really put us on edge. We could already see the international headlines: “Gay American couple along with uber driver dies in a horrific early morning crash in Lisbon!”
